Privacy Policy

Debt Payoff Allocator ("the app") is published by Shannon's Online Bookkeeping ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app handles and how. The short version: your plan lives on your device, you never connect a bank, and we don't sell, share or track anything.

Information stored on your device

Card nicknames, issuers, the optional last four digits, balances, interest rates, minimum payments, promo dates, due dates, your budget, saved plans, checklist history and your first name (if you enter one) are stored on your device, protected by iOS data protection. We can't see this information unless you turn on cloud backup.

Optional account and cloud backup

If you create an account, we collect your email address and a password (stored only in hashed form by our database provider), and we store a copy of your plan so you can restore it. This data is hosted by Supabase, our database provider, and access rules ensure each account can read only its own data. We use it only to provide backup and restore. You can delete your backup and account at any time in the app (Settings › Your data › Delete account), or by emailing us.

Purchases

Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive confirmation of your subscription status from Apple, not your payment details.

Notifications

If you turn on payment reminders, they're scheduled on your device. No push server is involved and no reminder content leaves your device.

What we don't do

• No bank connections and no full card numbers.
• No advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking tools.
• No selling, renting or sharing of your information.

Children

The app isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Retention

Data on your device stays until you erase it or delete the app. Cloud backup data stays until you delete your account, after which it's removed from our active database.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export (Settings › Export data) or delete your information at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. Contact us to exercise them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above and note material changes in the app.
